This painful and unpleasant award goes to the ParcView development on Bunten Road in Duluth AND the people putting out signs for them. The Morris and Raper On-Site Realtor® at the development actually laughed in our face when asked to stop putting out illegal signs. They have utter contempt for the law and the homeowners in the area.
Later, a member of our group encountered a woman putting out these signs and asked her to stop. Her boss drove up in a Mercedes Benz and began screaming, cussing and spitting. I guess he is having a hard time making payments on such an expensive car when people keep pulling up his illegal signs. Incidentally, the screaming stopped right about the time the police showed up. We are fortunate to have a responsive police force that understands the sign law and supports citizen efforts to clean up this mess.
